How to Reach
Narkanda is 174 Kms from Chandigarh and 61 Kms from Shimla which will take approximate 02:15 Hrs to reach there. So if you have vehicle then its fine else you can take bus from Chandigarh to Shimla and then from Shimla to Narkanda.
If you are coming from other states, You can also fly from Chandigarh to Jubbarhatti airport which is located around 155 Kms from Narkanda. After reaching Jubbarhatti you can take cab and bus services as well.
If you are train lovers then you can book train from Kalka to Shimla which will cost you just 60 Rs. After reaching Shimla you can Book cab as well as use bus services to Narkanda.

1. Hatu Peak
Hatu Peak is famous because of Hatu temple which is a home of Hatu Mata, an incarnation of Kali. This temple is dedicated to Mandodari, wife of Ravan. Timing to visit Hatu Temple is 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Hatu Peak is 7 Kms from Narkanda Bus Stand. You can reach to Hatu Peak by your own vehicle, with cab or by trekking also. If you love trekking it will approximate take 2-3 Hrs according to your walking stamina. Hatu Peak will provide you the best view with dense trees covered with snow, if you visit in winter.

Tanni Jubbar Lake is 21 Kms from Narkanda Bus Stand and 14 Kms from Hatu Temple. This is photogenic and quiet place. This place is covered with thick forest of cedar trees. Kacheri is 10 Kms from Narkanda Bus Stand. The famous Mahamaya Temple is located in Kacheri and it is also dedicated to Maa Kali. This temple is perfect for meditation. Apart from that Kacheri is also famous for apple orchard.

4. Koteshwar Mahadev Temple
Koteshwar Mahadev Temple is 6 Kms away from Kacheri. There are many temples in India named as Koteshwar Mahadev Temple. This temple is one of them. It is very popular temple in Shimla District. According to locals, God Koteshwar come out of the temple once every four years. If you visit Koteshwar Mahadev Temple in August and September, the villagers holds a religious festival of nine days.
